The game was hotly contested in the first half, with strong forward play from Cary that led to an early Sin Bin. North Wootten ran in their first two tries in this precious ten minute period; Cary came back with a try from a penalty given against Wootten. Two further tries followed as a result of precise kicks followed by strong chase-downs. Wootten carried over one more try in the dying moments of the first half to level the score at 19 all. The second half carried on in very much the same vein, but it soon became apparent that Wootten's youthful backs had the measure of Cary with some fast, dynamic and inspirational play. They ran in several more tries to win the game. See this Galleries page for pictures taken during the match. by James Travers
