Team captain, James Atkins, described what he saw as a spirited performance by a weakened Cary side.

Despite the visitors' fly-half missing a penalty early on in the game and James Cox being sinbinned, points were scored when Matthew Tom intercepted a Wells pass, running the length of the pitch to touch down between the posts.
