With a few changes to the Cary side, the revamped back line secured good ball from the pack. Welcome additions were Graham Barrs, returning after an eight-year absence, and new signing Orial Kelly. Ben Snook had a superb game at fly-half, breaking through Taunton's back line with ease, making good yards each time. On one such occasion his pace slightly failed him to be caught two metres short of the line. Strong support got there eventually to secure the ball and score in the corner. This break alone gave Ben Snook 'Man of the Match'. Other fine performances came from scrum-half Freddie Loxton and Simon Hunt, who was still finding his feet in the second row. An uplifting performance after the previous week's efforts sees Cary put their League ambitions back on track. Other mentions should go to Matt Holyfield for lasting three minutes before being yellow-carded, and try scorers Gareth Watts (2), Freddie Loxton (2), Matt Knight (1) and Alex "Doc" Leigh (1). by Rosie Meek
