CCRFC v Burnham-on-Sea 2nd

Marking the final League game of the season, and with the visitors only managing to field eleven men, Castle Cary balanced the numbers and secured a comfortable home win, leaving them eighth in the new Somerset 3 South League.

Tries were scored by Alex Leigh (2), Russell Churchouse (2), Matt Knight, James Atkins, Ben Snook, Freddie Loxton and Gary Reynolds. Gareth Watts achieved a hat-trick and Ben Snook added two conversions. Team captain, James Atkins, was pleased with the performance of his entire squad, and paid tribute to the efforts of outgoing coach, Jon Thomas.
