UNDER 7s
The games were played in very muddy conditions. There was very good tagging and defensive play. Both games were very different and coach, Alastair Cook, was very happy with the way the team is going. Man of the Match was awarded to Daniel Edwards.

UNDER 8s
The Under 8s were able field a full squad and the desire to demonstrate that a smaller club is not necessarily an inferior one was evident. Sherborne opened with a score, which Cary then matched. The game continued with each side matching each other, move for move. Sherborne knocked on in the dying moments of the game, giving Cary the advantage, which they took by scoring in the last move of the game.

Buoyed up by their win against Sherborne, Cary pulled together against Dorchester and put all their training into practice. Through expansive play and great teamwork, Cary Under 8s took full advantage of all mistakes to come away with a comprehensive victory against a good team.

UNDER 9s
In the first game against Dorchester, everyone was a bit shocked at the speed and quality of Dorchester, and Cary suffered a heavy loss.

In the second game of the day everyone played much better rugby and they all got stuck in and had a lot more confidence. Player of the Match was awarded to Chloe Smith.

UNDER 10s
In the first game Cary took on a massive Sherborne pack. Due to superior Cary tackling and rucking, their three quarters proved too strong with Jack Clothier and George Shepherd scoring in the first half. The second half proved to be much the same and Cary's forwards used the ball more, resulting in Jack Clothier going over for two more tries.

Jubilant from their win in their first game, and without a rest, Cary took on Dorchester. The teams were of a more equal size, but again Cary proved too strong. Cary's more expansive running game came up trumps with a try from a breakdown five yards from the visitors' line and Tom Wilkinson running the length of the pitch to score. Liam Atkins and Jack Clothier made some impressive tackles before the latter scored.

UNDER 11s
Two well matched teams with some very good handling. Dorchester opened the scoring after ten minutes with a try; the conversion was charged down. The rest of the first half was fairly even. At the restart, Dorchester ran through to almost score, followed by a hard fought battle for position. Cary rumbled to within ten metres for a penalty, which Ross Bowers took quickly and ran to the corner for a try which was converted by Philip Wake. Dorchester rallied and scored late in the second half to go ahead. Both teams played well.

Against Sherborne, he first ten minutes were evenly matched with the Under 11 players using good ball skills. But then Sherborne rumbled over with their first try. Cary then relaxed their pressure, which Sherborne exploited and ran several more tries in to win the game.
