Castle Cary's determination with a smaller pack paid dividends with a special mention for Mark Chivers, being his first game at second row. James Scard, playing at full back, scored a very impressive try to put Cary back in the game. The half time score was 5-7. Even with all Cary's flair and hard work, North Petherton still managed to score another two tries, converting one. Steve Armson, Cary's captain, said, 'I was very impressed with all the players, particularly the younger ones who did themselves and the team proud.' |
